The mission from the Secretariat Headquarter met with officials from its Canadian Office in Vancouver, Canada, from September 19 to 20, 2005. Both sides had discussions on preparation for the 2005 Annual General Meeting, particularly the arrangements on the Bureau Meeting and the tentative AGM agenda, plan of 2006 Annual General Meeting, training program of Secretariat capacity building, working mechanism of Lead Experts, 2005/06 budgetary plans of CCICED, and financial management, etc. The minute of this meeting was signed afterwards. Both sides agreed that this meeting is of great success, in terms of achieving its expected results, which laid a sound basis for the success of the Fourth Annual General Meeting of CCICED Phase III, as well as the following activities.
