Graduated from the Department of Engineering Physics, Tsinghua University in 1970, Mr. Zhou got his Master’s Degree from the Department of Environmental Engineering, Tsinghua University in 1982.

Mr. Zhou has long been engaged in the analysis and research of energy and economy, energy policy and energy system, and made great accomplishment in the research of global climate change closely connected to global economy and energy development and enjoyed a high reputation internationally. He has served as Vice Chairman of China Energy Research Association, member of Expert Committee for the National 863 Program in the field of energy.
