Mr. Wang graduated from Shandong University and studied at the Karpov Physical Chemistry Research Institute of the former Soviet Union from 1959 to 1960.

Mr. Wang was engaged in the research of environmental chemistry over the past twenty years and has served as the principal in chief for the state-level key scientific and technological projects in the 6th, 7th, 8th and 9th “Five-Year” Plan period.

He served as Deputy Section Chief, Physical Chemistry Office of Beijing Chemical Industry Research Institute affiliated to the Ministry of Chemical Industry, Vice Director of Tianjin Chemical Industry Research Institute affiliated to the Ministry of Chemical Industry, Deputy Director General of Tianjin Municipal Environmental Protection Bureau, Vice Director of Chinese Research Academy of Environmental Sciences and Professor of Environment Research Institute of Shandong University.
